Hong Kong Local Travel - MTR 1-Day Pass
The Hong Kong Tourist MTR 1-Day Pass is a bargain. MTR is the Mass Transit Railway. There are routes on Kowloon and the Hong Kong and Lantau islands. It is not valid on the Airport Express train.

The MTR 1-Day pass is valid for one day of travel for HK$50. One day means there is twenty-four hours of use available within a month of purchase. The card is for sale at the MTR Customer Service Centre in the airport and train stations. The tourist may keep the card as a souvenir.

The air-conditioned trains run on schedule and frequently. The trains and platforms are clean and well lighted.

The train stations contain stores, minibanks and pay phones. There is ATM service available.

If in Hong Kong for a period of time, invest in the Hong Kong Tourist Card. Enjoy the shopping and sightseeing!
