Kit-Kat Carb Alternatives

Kit-Kat Carb Alternatives
If you're a fan of candy, there are more and more choices for you that are lower in sugar. This Kit-Kat version has only half the sugar carbs.

Note that these are only the MINI version of Kit-Kats and even so, the normal version has 20g of sugar in them!! That is pretty scary. This lower carb version has only 10g of sugar in them. They expect you to eat 6 of these little things. I eat about 4 and I'm done with them. But of course, many people have been trained to eat giant tons of candy at a sitting. That is something they have to un-train themselves from doing.

Back to the candy. They do in fact taste like kit-kats, if a bit powder-sugary. There is some sucralose in here for sweetness, and 6g of sugar alcohols. As always, if you're sensitive to sugar alcohols, be sure to nibble a little and see how you react to it. Most of us have no issues with sugar alcohols, but some people (especially those who have never had sugar alcohols before) will have laxitive issues.

Really, there is no reason to eat full-sugar chocolate any more. There are so many sugarless and low sugar alternatives on the market that it's silly to put raw sugar into your body. If you're a kit-kat fan, this is what you should be eating instead, as you try to wean yourself off your chocolate habit.

Enjoy!
