After touring the Welcome screen, the author continues the chapter with a tour of the Organizer workspace. He demonstrates how each section of the workspace relates to the others. Next, he demonstrates some of the most common tasks for organizing and sharing your photographs. He thoroughly covers every tool and panel from the Menubar and matching shortcuts at the top of the workspace to the Task bar at the bottom of the workspace.

Once you learn the workspace layout, the author walks you through the most common Organizer tasks from importing photos to customizing a slide show with background music and animation. Next, you learn how to create and use albums and share them on the web, by email, DVD and more.
