The cookbook includes recipes that are made in one pan, especially skillets, Dutch ovens, and sheet pans. No special appliances needed. Many of the recipes are suitable for busy weeknights.
The best things about this cookbook are that the recipes are simple and require minimal ingredients. The recipes are also for dishes that will appeal to almost everyone. Many call for convenience foods like canned soups, which make the recipes even faster to put together. Most of the recipes are for full meals, including protein, starch, and vegetables. The Sheet Pan Cajun Shrimp is delicious and easy, and the Loaded Zucchini Boats are a perfect way to use that zucchini in a quick and easy way. There are lots of good chicken breast recipes, including Honey Mustard Chicken, Lemon Chicken with Asparagus, and a Chicken-Edamame Salad. The Thai Glazed Salmon is quick, easy, and delicious, and will become a go-to for those who try it. There are Mu Shu Pork Tacos, Peppercorn Pork Chips, and an easy version of Turkey and Biscuit Bake.
Kurniadi has included quick and easy soups, and dishes using pork, seafood, chicken, vegetables, and beef, so there is something for everyone.
Although there are a few pictures, there aren’t pictures of every dish, which is unfortunate, given that technology is advanced and there is no excuse for not including pictures. Nevertheless, the recipes are good and the book is a good one for busy cooks. For those cooks who are busy and don’t have a lot of time, this is an excellent cookbook to own.
