Firecracker Mix Recipe

Firecracker Mix Recipe
Patriotic holidays are fun, and serving patriotic food makes them even more enjoyable. Every year, it seems the cereal companies come out with limited edition flavors to match upcoming holidays. The Quaker Oats Company introduced Red, White & Blue Crunch, and it seemed like a perfect ingredient to put into a new snack mix. Firecracker Crunch is red, white, and blue, and besides the red, white, and blue berries, also has Special K cereal, as well as SweeTarts Ropes cut into 1” lengths to represent the fuses in firecrackers. The glaze that is mixed into the snack mix is made in less than 10 minutes, so this snack mix is perfect for busy cooks.
