Garlic, Cheese & Chive Biscuits Recipe
Do you love hot biscuits, but don’t have time to make them from scratch? If you have Master Baking Mix on your pantry shelf, (or commercial baking mix which isn’t as good), then you can make delicious biscuits in just a few minutes hands-on time. These Garlic, Chive & Cheese Biscuits are quick and easy, and most importantly, delicious. They are soft and fluffy, and hard to resist.

Garlic, Chive & Cheese Biscuits go well with soups and salads, as well as whatever you happen to be planning for dinner. They also make a good snack.

9 Biscuits

1 cup master baking mix or commercial baking mix without sugar
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon snipped chives
1/3-1/2 cup water

Garlic Butter Glaze:
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Line a small baking sheet with Silpat® or parchment.
  3. Mix the master baking mix, cheese, and chives.
  4. Stir in the water until the mixture holds together.
  5. Using a 1/4 cup scoop, scoop 9 mounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden.
  7. Meanwhile, make the garlic butter: Place the butter, garlic and parsley into a glass microwave-safe container; microwave 1 minute.
  8. Stir, then microwave 30 additional seconds.
  9. When the biscuits are done, brush with the garlic butter and serve immediately.
