Creepy Carn

Creepy Carn
Horror movies are often set at carnivals, since the midway and clowns can be very scary. Some of the food can also be scary, especially when it is displayed with gross things like skeleton parts, snakes, and rats.

My friend, Denise, used to live in Palm Springs and threw an elaborate themed Halloween party every year. One year her theme was Carn“Evil” and she filled her pool with creepy clowns and had scary carnival props everywhere. She always had her parties catered, and served several kinds of fabulous scary food. I took some of her creative ideas and made this yummy, spicy and sweet popcorn. I have a popcorn machine, so I used it as a serving container to display this Creepy Carn“Evil” Crunch, and added some scary props to serve at my annual Halloween BOO-ffet. This popcorn is great year-round, but is especially good at the Halloween BOO-ffet.
