Lip Scrubs From Dry to Kissable. Tried One Lately?

Lip scrubs. Ever heard of them Ethnic Beauties? Great for removing dead skin cell buildup on your lips. Who da thought it? Used to gently exfoliate dry, flaky lips, they can leave them feeling softer, smoother and more kissable.
As I was researching Handmade Holiday Gift Items, I came across a few recipes for lip scrubs. These are simple and easy to make.
A few simple ingredients and you’ll have the flavor of the holidays right under your nose.
Cranberry Lip Scrub
- 2 tablespoons of fine sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon of cranberry powder
- A pinch of beetroot powder
- A small bowl
- 1 tablespoon of fractionated coconut oil
- 1/8 oz Glass or PET Plastic Jars
Gingerbread Lip Scrub
- 2 tablespoons finely ground brown sugar,
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- A small bowl
- 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- 3 drops of vanilla extract/vanilla oleoresin
- 2 drops gingerbread essential oil (This is a blend of 3 drops ginger, 3 drops cinnamon bark, 2 drops clove, 3 drops nutmeg and 2 drops orange)
- 1/8 oz Glass or PET Plastic Jars
Spiced Orange Lip Scrub
- 2 tablespoon fine sugar
- A dash of cinnamon
- A Small bowl
- 1 tablespoon fractionated coconut oil
- 3 drops sweet orange essential oil
- 1/8 oz Glass or PET Plastic Jars
To make:
- Add the sugar, spice and powder (if part of recipe) into a small bowl.
- Add the fractionated coconut oil or carrier oil of your choice
- Add the essential oil and honey and mix well to incorporate.
- Carefully transfer your scrub into small glass jars.
To Use:
Gently massage onto your lips and rinse with warm water.
Pat dry and follow up with a lip balm for extra hydration.
