One of the best things about amusement parks is the fact that there are food stands everywhere, and a trip to a good theme park is a culinary adventure. Sometimes the food is so good, we’d like to duplicate it at home. Anyone who likes Dollywood, will agree that The Unofficial Dollywood Cookbook: From Frannie's Famous Fried Chicken Sandwiches to Grist Mill Cinnamon Bread, 100 Delicious Dollywood-Inspired Recipes! by Erin Brown is a great book to pick up in order to duplicate those wonderful southern foods at home.

The fun recipes contained in this cookbook will appeal to both children and adults. Those who are lucky enough to have gone to this fun amusement park will want to recreate their memories of that fun time; others, who haven’t had the opportunity to visit, will want to try the foods and will definitely be inspired to visit soon.

The recipes are written in the traditional manner – a list of ingredients followed by succinct instructions, which makes them easy-to-follow and insures that the results will be picture perfect and delicious.

The only drawback to this cookbook is that there aren’t enough pictures of the dishes. While there are beautiful, professional photographs of many of the dishes, it would be nice to see a photo of all of them to help decide which dish to prepare .

All told, this is a fun cookbook, full of dishes that almost everyone will want to sample. Fun! Fun! Fun!
