This excellent cookbook includes recipes to serve for celebrations throughout the year.

The information on the history of Zingerman’s Bakehouse is interesting, and the recipes are amazing and very appealing. They are presented in the standard manner, with the ingredients listed in order first, followed by step-by-step instructions, making it possible for everyone – beginning to advanced cooking abilities – to prepare the recipes with picture-perfect results. There are also notes and comments at the beginning of each recipe that are fun and helpful.

One of the best things about this cookbook is that there are beautiful, professional photographs of almost every recipe, making it difficult to decide just what to make next.

All told, this excellent cookbook is one that is fun to read cover to cover, and is one that will inspire bakers to bake for holidays and regular days throughout the year. Those who aren’t lucky enough to live near a Zingerman’s Bakehouse will want to make these yummy treats at home.
