All-In-One Instant Pot Ramen Recipe

All-In-One Instant Pot Ramen Recipe
Most people would agree that authentic ramen is best when eaten at a restaurant. While those ubiquitous ramen packets that are very cheap from the grocery store are quick and convenient, not to mention the main sustenance of poor college students, good ramen includes meat, vegetables, and broth that is flavorful and delicious. It can take time to make good ramen, but with an Instant Pot, it can be done in less than 30 minutes and is as good as that served in restaurants.

This recipe has dozens of possibilities for variations. If you like soupy ramen, you can double the sauce ingredients. You can vary the vegetables, and use thinly sliced chicken or beef instead of the pork (or even ground turkey, pork or beef). The possibilities are actually endless. My family likes it served in a big bowl with a fried egg on top. Once you try this easy version of All in One Instant Pot Ramen, you’ll be making it on weeknights often.

6 Servings

1 tablespoon vegetable oil, thinly sliced
1 pound pork loin

1 cup sliced carrots
1 sliced medium onion
1 red bell pepper, seeded, quartered, and sliced

2 packages ramen noodles, your favorite flavor and brand

Sauce:
1 cup chicken broth
1 packet from the ramen noodles
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, finely minced

Sesame seeds
Sliced green onion

  1. Set the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Heat the vegetable oil and add the pork; stir fry until it is just cooked through.
  2. Top with the carrots, onions, and bell pepper.
  3. Remove the ramen noodles from the package and place them on top of the vegetables.
  4. Mix the sauce ingredients (double them if you like extra juice in your ramen), and pour over the noodles.
  5. Cover the pot, set the valve to sealing, and set to manual for four minutes.
  6. When the cycle has finished, release the pressure. Use a big fork to stir the noodles into the broth and stir to mix everything. Garnish with the sesame seeds and green onion.
