Fans of the Jake Travis series by award winning author, Robert Lane will definitely want to pick up the 5th installment in the Jake Travis series, Naked We Came. In this exciting novel, Jake Travis goes back 30 years when his sister was abducted and murdered while they were on a family vacation. While a suspect wrote a confession, Jake is sure that it was forced, and the DNA had been tampered with. The named suspect is dead, but Jake carries on trying to solve the murder and find closure for himself.

Robert Lane is a favorite author who expertly weaves believable stories with plenty of building suspense, plenty of twists and turns, and plenty of surprising scenarios. His novels are awesome, and this one is no exception. Another of his skills is that he does an excellent job of developing his characters, and making them real. Jake Travis is one character that people can relate to; he seems like a person readers know, respect, and trust.

This novel will keep readers on the edge, and it is very difficult to put down. After reading this novel, readers will want to read all of the books in this series, as well as Lane’s excellent stand alone books. As usual with Robert Lane, highly recommended.
