If the enemy can control your mind, then he can control you. He attempts to control your mind by whispering non-truths and Twisting the truth in your ear.
Any word that you hear that goes against the Word of God should be put out of our mind. We should capture every thought and examine it for truthfulness. If the thought does not line up with the Word of God, then it should be cast down. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5
You need to have a close and personal relationship with God so that you will know his voice. Jesus said my sheep know my voice. If the thought does not line up with the Word of God, then rebuke it.
God said if you love me then keep my commandments. We all mess up sometimes. When we do we will get convicted by the Holy Spirit. We must go to God with a repentant heart. We know that The Lord gives good gifts. We serve a good God.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
When you receive God as your Lord and Savior, you become a new creation. All things are passed away and all things become new.
I can’t stress this enough. You need a relationship with Jesus. Take control of your mind. Wash your mind and heart with the Word of God. Call on him. He will always answer. Make him Your Lord and Savior. He will fight your battles for you.
