Alive Kainos

Ben and Hannah Stacy, a husband and wife team, have delivered an aggressive and rock filled sound on this project. Their funky hard hitting opening track "Selfish Me" paints a picture of the hard times we receive from others when we want more out of our lives. With lyrics of "Silent stares, it's not fair for trapping me where I'm at. Keeping me from my dreams and walking on me like that..." Hannah sings with a haunting familiarity of someone who has felt the disapproval of others while reaching for a goal. Living in the Ukraine, Ben was as he puts it "lost". He experimented with drugs and was on a downward spiral headed toward death but he surrended to God and that is when he felt "Alive" again. On “Alive" Hannah serves Ben's journey up in each stance of the song with ease. The song reflects on that classic feeling of love that believers have when God comes in and saves them. God becomes the "Center of My Everything" for Christians when we give him our complete lives. This is another standout track on the project and Hannah belts out this song with heart-stirring conviction. Learn more about this dynamic duo at www.kainosmusic.com

Faithfully Yours Margaret Becker & David M. Edwards

Called by some the "pure voice of worship" Margaret Becker doesn't disappoint on this project. Teaming up with worship leader David Edwards the twosome present a moving and wonderful tribute to various Psalms from the new Holman Christian Standard Bible from Broadman Holman Publishers. Singing with a stripped-down acoustic sound the rich and warm voice of Becker's shines through on Psalm 51 "Create in Me". Beauty that touches the soul defines this track and Becker, a multiple Dove winner and Grammy nominee, takes this familiar Psalm to a new level that would make David himself proud. Smooth and elegant is the voice of David Edwards and on Psalm 139 "Where Could I Go" he brings a fullness to the tune without being overbearing. Displaying worship for God is this project and not only David but Solomon, Asaph and the other writers of Psalms would rejoice.

Music City Live Bryan Duncan and The Neho Soul Band

The words "a long and brilliant career" can be used to describe the ministry of Bryan Duncan and he graced a Nashville club with a live performance that showcased this fact to the fullest. Opening with the bluesy "Clap Your Hands" Bryan and the Neho Soul Band get the audience in a party feeling from the start. Moving on to the groove infested "Step By Step" Duncan and Neho Soul give a jazzy and breezy rendition of this classic tune. The funky "Yes I Will" shows that Duncan can flow to a rap with the best of them. Slowing things down with his hit single "Love You With My Life" Duncan croons out this jam with a smoothness that is all his. Fun, fresh and more fun is what that audience experienced in Nashville and you will too when you pop this CD in your player. Enjoy the ride!
