Charles and TaylorCharles and Taylor Swiney

The big vocals of this duo belies their young ages. Brother and sister act Charles and Taylor Butler are 15 and 13 respectively but if you listen to their voices you would assume they are much older. Especially Ms. Taylor herself whose smooth and controlled voice shines on the standout track "Still Gonna Pray". Produced by Travon Potts, (Bebe Winans, Trinity 5:7 and Christina Aguilera) the group delivers a high energy project that also offers some wonderful ballads. The beautiful worship song "You are God Alone" allows for the two to showcase their harmony. These two serve up the heartfelt worship of the power and strength of God with great substance. Other tracks of notice are the smooth grooving' "I've Been Blessed", the moving solo of Taylor's "Heart Soul Mind", and the tribute to their mother "Mama's Song". Pick up this CD for a young person and allow these two to show them that you can be a teenager and serve God beautifully. Learn more about this duo at www.charlesandtaylor.com

On this debut CD Ms. Kennedy shows a heart for God and sings of His faithfulness with great spirit. On the title track Ms. Kennedy gives a testimony of striving to reach beyond the sky for your dreams. We're Gonna Make ItThe Spiritual Messengers

When I heard this group live at Praise in the Park in Griffin Georgia, I did something I don't EVER do. I asked for their project to review on this site. There on the stage was a trio backed by a live band headed by Minister Terrence Wilson and they gave a spirit filled, foot-stompin', high energy performance that really had the crowd moving. On this project the traditional sounds of gospel reigns supreme. The group which heralds out of Griffin is made up of Nakia Conley, Cathedra Jones, and Quwan Shedrick and Minister Wilson. The ladies use their big voices to belt out song after song. That good old down home feeling comes across on every track. The energetic songs "I Know He Loves Me", "A Seat in the Kingdom" and "More Like Jesus" are the true standouts on this CD. A diamond in the rough is the group and with a little polish they will shine for all to see. For more information on this group contact Joe Pope-678-687-5732.
