The Great Seed Experiment: Follow Up

The Great Seed Experiment: Follow Up
On the first full day of the Great Seed Experiment, I sat by my window for the full day, taking notes all day. I wasn't quite that untiring on subsequent days, but I did make notes when I went by the window.

Day 2
12:00 - female cowbird on cracked corn. Squirrels on boss.

1:15 - Morning dove on thistle, then on shelled corn. Grackles down on bread. Guess they're just not interested in helping out the experiment.

1:30 - Grackle on BOSS and shelled seed, hanging out! Guess they're just shy. Titmouse pops in for mixed seed.

2:00 - Grackle on water.

4:30 - Chipping sparrow in shelled seed, sitting there eating. Titmice extremely active. They came in for BOSS, MX, Shelled, BOSS, water, Shelled, BOSS, MX. One ate shelled 5 or 6 times then flew off with one.

5:30 - Grackle on BOSS. Bluejay came by but wouldn't go to the table. Titmouse at mixed. Grackle again grabbing bread.
