Tracy Lawrence - For the Love

Tracy Lawrence - For the Love
Tracy Lawrence is back in a big way. It seems he has taken all his life lessons and pours the emotions into his music.

Missing from the charts for way too long, Tracy has come back with a new CD, a new record label and his one of a kind country voice. Unless you have been living under a rock, you have heard Find Out Who Your Friends Are with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. To be honest, I like the first version on his CD when it’s just him singing the song.

Tracy has had his run ins with the law and anger problems, but they seem to be behind him now with his marriage and children grounding him and giving him the stability to do what he does best. One of my favorite tracks is ’Til I Was a Daddy Too because of the emotion behind the song, the lessons that he has learned since he became a father. It could be a song any child can relate to, no one understands what their parents go thru until they actually experience the fear and joy of being a parent. (I know I have apologized over and over to my parents since I’ve been a mom.)

The first and last tracks are Find Out Who Your Friends Are, one version has just Tracy singing, the other has friends Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. Such a true song, your true friends are the ones that are there when things are bad as well as when they are good. They will be there when your heart is broken or when you are experiencing the joys of new love. They will “drop everything”, “they will just show up with that big ole heart”.
