Recipe for No-Bake Easter Nests

Recipe for No-Bake Easter Nests
If you’re short on time, but the kids want to help make Easter treats, try these quick and easy No-Bake Easter Nests. They start with mini donuts available at any grocery store; you may use plain sugared, cinnamon, chocolate, or a mixture. If you have time, you can make your own Buttercream Frosting, but canned frosting can also be used. Whichever frosting you choose to use, just stir in a little green food coloring, spread it on the donuts, then top with mini chocolate eggs. For a variation that looks even more like a nest (we’re using our imagination here, of course), put a few drops of green food coloring in a jar, add 1/2 cup sweetened, flaked coconut, and shake until the coconut is tinted – then sprinkle it on the frosting before adding the chocolate eggs.

The total hands-on time for these cute treats is only between 15 and 30 minutes depending how much the kids help; clean-up is fast too.
