Upload Your Images to the WWW
Once you have scanned your LOs and saved them on your computer or on a disk, you are ready to upload them to the www for the world to see! Sharing LOs online is the best way to exchange ideas and see what everyone else is doing and how they are doing it! The easiest way to upload and share laouts is to use a Gallery.

There are several places online that offer galleries for you to display your images.

Some very popular places to upload LOs are Two Peas In A Bucket, ScrapJazz, and Cropper’s Cottage. These sites do not allow remote linking, but you can show your images off in their galleries!

Another option is to upload to a site that allows Remote Linking. Remote Linking means that the image is given a web address, or URL, of its own. This is handy, but not necessary unless you want to actually display the image somewhere else on the web.

For instance, if you are a member of a Scrap-board and want to show your LOs on that board, then you must have a URL for it, and the board must have the capability. If the board doesn't have an image option, then it will show up as a web address, or URL; which, when clicked will pop up your LO in its own window!

I have free webspace from my Internet Serice Provider (ISP). In order to use it, I had to download an FTP Program to upload my images. I could also create a webpage to display my images.

The plus side of creating a webpage (most internet service providers will give you so much free web space) is that all your LOs can be displayed on one page or however you desire. You can put your own descriptions with the LOs, as well.

If your ISP doesn't provide you with any free webspace, or you do no know how to use it, you might check out these free webspace providers that allow hotlinking (Remote linking):

You may not want to post your work online for people to see, but the great thing about this is that many people do, and you can browse through gallery after gallery online, and get some really great ideas!
