Lotus Wraps have always been a favourite of my husbands ever since our foster daughter from Vietnam, Mai made them years ago. This Thai version is more flavourful than the Chinese versions with the addition of Thai Oyster Sauce, Thai Sausages, fish sauce and chiles.
Thai Sausage can easily be made at home. If you don't have a sausage stuffer you can easily make the meat mixture into patties and fry or grill them.
Or purchase in your local Asian Market - usually in the frozen section.
Thai Lotus Wraps
This popular dim sum dish is made with a great Thai sant in Chinese-Thai restuarants and homes in hailand. It is made by steaming lotus or banana leaves filled with sticky rice, Thai Sausages, and other vegetables.
