Roussy-Levy Syndrome affects the peripheral nervous system. Also known as hereditary areflexic dystasia and as a subtype of Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT), Type 1B, Roussy-Levy Syndrome affects the myelin sheath in the nerves of the peripheral nervous system.
