1/20/1974-Football player Rae Carruth, convicted for the 1999 murder of his pregnant girlfriend, is born.

1/21/1994-A jury finds Lorena Bobbitt temporarily insane.

1/22/1973-The U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade decriminalizes abortion.

1/23/1957-Willie Edwards, age 25, is murdered by KKK members in Alabama.

1/24/1989-Serial killer Ted Bundy, age 42, is executed in Florida's electric chair.

1/25/1971-Charles Manson, Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, and Patricia Krenwinkle are convicted of the Tate-LaBianca murders.

1/26/1962-Mobster Charles "Lucky" Luciano dies at age 64.
