Greetings and Salutations -

I'm steadily catching up on email! If you're waiting on me for something, I should be to you soon :). One step at a time!

I have awesome news from Jeanne, our Resources manager:

"Jeanne and her husband are traveling to Africa to (hopefully) bring home their adopted son. Jeanne will be gone for October and will return to her keyboard on November 1st. If you would like to find out about their progress you can follow her on Twitter (@JeanneUkwendu), Facebook, or Google +."

Jeanne's Facebook page is here:

I'll be handling the forums and resources email accounts while she brings home and settles in with Christian. If you have anything pending in those areas, or with the graphics server, let me know and I'll get on that.

Also, we are coming up on the beginning of National Novel Writing Month - NaNoWriMo. If you've ever wanted to write a novel, now is the perfect time to try it! How this works is your start on November 1st, you write through November 30th, and you have a first draft. It doesn't have to be perfect! A key part of this project is to learn to write without editing. You edit later. Don't slow down your creative mind by criticizing yourself :). Just let it flow. Let the ideas come. The more you write, the easier it gets. The more you practice, just like riding a bike, the easier the process becomes. This helps you in all areas of life.

It's completely free to sign up - and if you get to 50,000 words you win a number of prizes.

Feel free to "buddy" me. I'm happy to help in any way I can. Remember, this is a training exercise. It's not about creating the ultimate novel in 30 days. It's about training yourself to write daily and to get past those hurdles which are holding you back. It gives you a supportive community to help with plot questions, character questions, and other topics you get stuck on. It's ok if you don't finish! The trying is what matters :).

Let me know if you have any questions! And I'll have threads in our forums to help, too.
