We're thinking of breaking this big ebook up into smaller ebooks that make up a series. We do have many people downloading the large ebook but I wonder if we'd get even more if we made the ebooks more focused. Let's say we made up a series of ebooks like:

* eco-friendly home product recipes (i.e. counter cleaners / window cleaners)
* eco-friendly skin / hair recipes (i.e. lotions, shampoos etc)
* recycle practically everything!
* optimizing your home's heating / cooling efficiency

Do you think people would be more likely to download specific topic ebooks, ones that met a specific need they had?

We want to help as many people as possible. Let us know what you think!

MARKETING TIPS

For your personal websites that you run, make sure you get those polished up to prepare for the holiday season rush! There are two things you can do to really help boost the stickiness of your sites. Both involve square icons so by doing this task one time you can get two separate goals completed!

The first is creating the Facebook like promo icon. This is the thing I was talking about yesterday. This is the square branding image that shows up when a visitor posts a link to your page from their Facebook wall. You want to control that message and make sure it represents you clearly! I explain step by step how to set that up for your website here -

That image is 90 x 90.

Once you have that done, then simply make that image be 72 x 72 and drop the resolution, as I explain in the next step. Voila! You now have a perfect bookmark image. This is what people who use iPads, iPhones, Droid phones, and other devices will use to bookmark your page. That way your bookmark icon is clear, meaningful, and unique. It will help to further brand your site in their mind. I explain how to do that here -
