October 20 2006 Relationships Newsletter

Hello friends,

Today as I look out my window, I know autumn is in full swing. However, if the high winds keep up, I don't think we'll have much opportunity to enjoy the beautifully colored leaves. No, it will soon be time to gather them up into piles so my granddaughter can jump into them.

In my last newsletter I mentioned my husband may have surgery. Well, it's scheduled for the end of the month. In fact, on halloween. Too bad, because we always enjoyed dressing up and greeting the little princesses, ghosts, goblins and an assortment of their friends. In fact, we usually dress up too.

I remember the first year we did that, the police stopped to make sure we weren't some kind of nut. After realizing we were the homeowners they thanked us for taking the time to keep an eye on the children who were out that night.

I guess that won't be the case this year, although I have thought of getting on of those fake coffins and wrapping Ken up like a mummy and putting him inside. But, no, I won't do that. We'll just have to pass on this year and save our strength for the next holiday.

That's enough about us. I know what you really want is to see my latest articles. This time I have two for you, and information about the great books I used for my research.

The first is: How to Overcome Insecurity in a Relationship.

I believe I am not alone when I say insecurity in a relationship is based on fear. Often fear of rejection. However, sometimes it can be fear of losing yourself in a relationship. Both are very real fears women face every day. Overcoming them can be difficult.

My second article is A Life Preserver when Drowning in a Relationship.

There is a fear one sometimes faces in a relationship, and that is the fear of losing themselves to their partner. The fear of becoming a doormat.
