Greetings Everyone -

Tonight on CBS at 9 pm et/pt is a show called Cold Case. I have never seen it but the episode is called Saving Sammy. It is about an autistic child that witnesses the murder of his parents.

I have never seen this show, but will most likely tune into it to see how they profile autism in a child and compare it to a movie with Bruce Willis entitled Mercury Rising. I have viewed the movie many times and taped it. I would not suggest the movie or the episode tonight to a family that just got a diagnosis. I think the storyline would be a bit much at this stage for new families.

I am attending a Due Process Committee meeting on Tuesday at the LAUSD headquarters and hope to gain insight into this process I have yet to encounter.
