October 31 2008 Motorsports Newsletter

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another F1 newsletter, catching up with the news from the last few weeks, and a recap of some recent articles on the BellaOnline site.

In the news:

Teams are starting to protest against the standard engine idea, with both Toyota and Ferrari threatening to quit if it goes ahead. The FIA are nonplussed though, and say it’s up to them to come up with a better idea.

Massa admits he is feeling very little pressure going into this last race. Because he is behind in the points, Massa knows he just has to win and that’s all he can do. He believes Hamilton will be feeling more nervous.

Force India have confirmed they are in talks with McLaren for an engine deal next year, and it looks like it might go ahead. They’ve said they’ll be happy to recompense Ferrari for any work done if they pull out of the contract.
