Greetings to all friends near and far. The evening air is getting a bit chilly and crisp here in Washoe Valley. Last week the nights were clear and the stars shone brightly. The Harvest Moon was beautiful. Grandmother Moon came out proudly and bright, sat on my little mountain top for a few minutes then went along her path on the harvest trail, casting her golden light upon us all.
Coyote was singing his song off in the distance each night. It is so wonderful to listen to him as I sat out on the patio during my end of day reflection time.
This week, however, we have had terrific thunder and lightning, heavy rains, hail, and flash floods. So, Brother Coyote has gone off somewhere to stay warm and dry. We should warm up and dry out by the weekend, so maybe he will come back to sing for us.
