Greetings to all friends near and far. Nights are getting colder, so make sure you protect any herbs or other potted plants you have outdoors. I have brought mine in for the winter and set them in a sunny window.

Remember the children on the reservations who will be needing warm clothing, coats and hats for the winter months ahead. Some of my forum members have been knitting and crocheting hats, scarves and mitten sets to send to their chosen reservations for the children. This is a great idea and will be greatly appreciated.

Fall festivals, powwows and other events will be popping up on weekends, so keep an eye open for them. If you attend any events, we would love to hear about it in our Native American forum at http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=140&page=1

Sign up is free and you can let us know about any powwows or events you know of that are coming up and you want to get the word out. There are many interesting topics going on in the forum - I hope to see you there, or read you there I guess I should say.

People from our Paiute Res are having a craft fair this weekend, so if you will be in the Reno or Sparks Nevada area try to attend for some great crafts, eats and treats:
