With the change of season upon us it’s time for a change of wardrobe. I like to host a vide dressing(clothes swap) after weeding out pieces I’m no longer excited to wear. Watch the Paris fashion shows, read about street style, and get inspired.

From the New York Times footage of fashion week, here are some looks to steal:

The Valentino collection is ROYAL, bejeweled gown and rich fabrics but I especially like the hair. Center parted locks drawn back in low ponytails are dressed up by headbands. Also, GRAPHIC stripes and checks from Alexander McQueen that resemble Mondrian paintings, short flouncy skirts and 80s heels from Saint Laurent and tea party meets lingerie LACE at Stella McCartney are street worthy looks.

Current collections in the stores are punk: studded pieces, ripped up jeans, snagged sweaters and always lots of black. II can’t say I’m fond of much I’ve seen so far.
