October 9 2010 Italian Food Newsletter

Ciao!

Please excuse the large gap in between newsletters. An some of you know Italian food and culture is my passion, but I am also a librarian.

To make a long story very short...From May until October I changed jobs a few times. I went from being the coordinator of public services at the Athens-Limestone Public Library to being a branch manager in another library system. I then accepted the position of director of my previous library (http://www.AthensLimestone.lib.al.us). I became the new director on 1 October. Do I need to say that my life has been hectic juggling multiple positions? I didn't think so.

So, now we will be able to move back to having regular newsletters. I thank you for your patience.

Here's the latest article from the Italian Food site at BellaOnline.com.

Anaheim White House -- A Review
In April 2009, I had the pleasure of being Bruno Serato's guest at the Anaheim White House Restaurant. Bruno has recently been featured on CBS news with Katie Couric and as a hero in People magazine. Why has Bruno been given national recognition? Because of the hundreds of children he feeds everyday. It's great when good people are recognized.
