November 15 2011 Cancer Newsletter

Hello and I trust that you are having a good week!

I have 4 Reminders for you:

1. November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month – support it in any way you can. Donate dollars, pledge to stop smoking or encourage someone else to, and help them along the way. My own mother died from lung cancer at 59, (and she was a long-time smoker) so I can relate.

2. Don’t forget: www.beealive.com is offering their usual holiday specials on their nutritional supplements and skin line. Royal Jelly is easily absorbable and is available for diabetics, and they offer EZ -pay type payment plan on certain orders. NL archive 11/1/2011 has info you can give to
them for 20% referral discount on 3-month orders.

Go to: cancer.bellonline.com/Site.asp, click newsletter archives/click 11/1/2011.

3. Be watching: Coming soon my book review on The Lovin’ Ain’t Over for Women with Cancer, by Ralph and Barbara Alterowitz. The book is available to purchase, or visit their website www.renewintimacy.org for more information! I am so excited about this book (2011).

4. CAUTION: There is a new BellaOnline.com Ad that offers help from 18 doctors. NOTE: This is a general site-wide ad, and has not been implemented by the Cancer site alone. I ask that you err on the side of caution should you decide to use it. Because the subject of cancer is not only a broad topic, but is a very serious one, as a survivor and editor of the Cancer site here, I personally wouldn’t use it.

However, Lisa Shea, owner of BellaOnline.com runs a very tight ship here, and handles the site with excellence. I do not know who these doctors are, or what specialties they possess. My own experience with this kind of ad in the past was not good. I cannot advise you either way, so as always, as you would with other similar ads on the Internet, please use wisdom and discretion in this matter.

Since Thanksgiving is near upon us, try to make a list of ten things you are most grateful for!
If it’s a person, make sure you tell them! A show of moral support psychologically strengthens another person, and is healing beyond measure.

I hope you have a blessed, happy and healthy week!
