Hi there! Welcome to this week's newsletter!
How was your week? Although my family made a personal choice years ago not to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, we definitely enjoyed an extra day off! First and most importantly this week, here is the latest article from the Virus and Spam site at BellaOnline.com.
Facebook's Spam Problems - Although Facebook was not shut down by the hacktivist group Anonymous, the mega social site was the recent target of a heavy spam attack of the worst kind. Is your Facebook account safe?

In tech news this week: The Los Angeles Times reports the worst Black Friday shopping incident to date: a woman at a Walmart used pepper spray to gain the upper hand and get to the deeply discounted video games first. The store erupted in chaos, with shoving matches over discounted computers and resulted in much broken merchandise.
Random health tip: I was afraid my annoying sinus infection would turn into strep throat, but a few precautions made that an unnecessary fear. Do you know how to avoid more serious infections this season?
- Wash your hands - a lot. If you can't wash them, sanitize them with hand sanitizer as soon as you can.
- Avoid the sick like the plague. If you know that someone is sick, stay away. Stay far, far away.
- Consider getting a flu shot. If you're not into the idea of a vaccination, then take a multivitamin each day.
To participate in free, fun online discussions, the Virus and Spam site has a community forum all about Virus and Spam.
Look for my upcoming detailed article about protecting your PC from visitors. In the meantime, have you read my article about Holidays and Scams?
I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this newsletter. I thrive on your feedback! Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
