NEWSLETTER ARCHIVES

It does seem like numbering my messages has been very helpful - several editors have realized that they missed a message or two due to anti-spam filters! That then of course leads to the question of "how do I read the messages I have lost".

I have set up the Editor Assistance site so that it now archives these editor-wide mailings. You can go to the Editor Assistance site - the link is on your main admin menu - and see the newsletter archives there just as you would for any other site. the link is called "Past Issues" and is in the right column, just above the "Members" box.

I loaded in the past few mailings manually, and going forward every mailing I do to all editors will be stored in there. That way you can catch up if your anti-spam filters go awry!


FREE IDEAS

Many people are looking for holiday gift-giving ideas right now - and many of them are on VERY tight budgets. This is the perfect time to brainstorm FREE ideas for them! Every topic area can think up some. A golf lover might offer her grandson five free golf lessons whenever he wants. Someone who knits might raid their scraps closet and knit "free" hats for all their friends. Someone who loves romantic novels might be given a "free" luxury day of romance, with a few books from the library, a steady supply of tea, foot rubs and beautiful music.

If you are feeling challenged by the free idea, come by the editor forums! We will help you brainstorm, and get you tons of great ideas to write about. Your visitors will thank you!
