Here we are already in the first weekend of November. I have been doing some holiday shopping the past few days. At one website I get gift cards to Barnes and Noble, so I was picking up more Dinosaur books for my son Nicholas.

I was also at the craft store Michael's and contemplating some model cars and airplanes for him. Instead I opted for some drawing supplies. Turns out he does not want any model airplanes so that was a good decision I made on not buying any!

The Scholastic book order arrived this past week. His order was a pokemon handbook/guidebook. He is currently viewing Pokemon 8 so I hope to have a new review on that in the days ahead.

The Discovery store changed locations at our local mall and had their grand opening yesterday. I had no idea as I entered the store that I was the first customer and I bought this 3D Dinosaur book that Nicholas loves. There was no special discount either, but since it is a favorite store of ours and we use the rewards card to get discounts this was okay.

The Science Channel has a show called Extreme Dinosaurs, Sabretooth and T-Rex: Warrior or Wimp. These shows are airing for the last time today. Do not miss them.
