Greetings all! We're finally back in the midwest, up from Laredo, TX.

We had an interesting week. 3500 miles from MI, down south and back
again. Our expediting business is just beginning to take off
with the wears and tears of the unexpected.

We had a mishap back at the border when we dropped off. The cargo
van wouldn't exceed 45 mph. We had thought we'd have some time
to get the van fixed when a second 1500 load needed to be picked
up. We had a choice to take it or pass. I did a little
"peek-a-booing" and said, "My 2 cents is we'll be o.k. but
just until we get back to IL." We started the van and it dies
almost immediately. The package was held up at the Mexican
border so we had time to re-think. I "peek-a-booed" again, and
this time it felt as if, this load would be, not only possible
but necessary. We picked up, headed out and the van wouldn't go
over 15 mph. My husband gave me the snake eye, for two hours into
the trip.

I pulled out all stops and asked my spiritual networking guides
if they didn't have a mechanic on hand, lol, on the Other Side.
We got the message to pull over for the night. All would be
well the following day. We did, the van ran fine the next day,
made it to Chicago, IL where most of the hotels were between
$100 - $200. We just happened to glance up and a billboard for
the Drury Inn read $49.00. We stayed at a beautiful hotel for $52.84 and
the load ended up paying four times what our usual loads would.

Goes to show, instincts can be well worth following as well as
having friends on this side or the Other. Thanks Grandma!!!
