Greetings and Salutations -

Thank you to all the editors who alerted me to the forum issues over this past weekend. I've been updating and tweaking the servers and now I think I've reached the heart of the problem. Apparently an overenthusiastic spider named "80Legs" has decided to thoroughly crawl every nook and cranny of our quite massive forum network. It's slowed the forums down to a crawl.

My initial attempts to politely ask 80Legs to leave us alone met with less than favorable results :). So now I am being a little more enthusiastic about manually blocking them from the site. One challenge is that they use a network of robotic machines so I can't just block one of them. I have to block anything that looks like them :). Do they have legs? Are there 80 of them? No, no, just kidding.

Rest assured that we'll get a muzzle on 80Legs soon enough and send them off to play elsewhere. It's a sign of honor that they think we're worthy enough to plow through our content. It's a good practice in patience! And, for me, lack of sleep ;).

I will send you an update when I get this little beastie wrangled!
