December 13 2008 Motorsports Newsletter

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another F1 newsletter, catching up with the news from the last few weeks, and a recap of some recent articles on the BellaOnline site.

In the news:

There's been a lot of reaction to Honda's surprise withdrawal from the sport. Button will remain with the team in the hopes that they'll find a buyer, both Bernie and Max are trying their hardest to secure a new owner for the team in 2009. Barrichello remains eerily quiet.

The FIA released their findings from the World Motorsport Council meeting in Monaco this week. They've got a lot of cost-cutting proposals for the future and all are agreed with the teams association - FOTA. More on this during next week's articles.

The test in Jerez was a modest affair, with no major news coming from the Spanish circuit. Toro Rosso led all three days, with Buemi on top, but comparisons can't really be made to other teams.
