Greetings from the Land of OZ!

Every year on my December to-do list, I have a visit to our local (114 miles from here) wildlife refuge. Sometimes, life gets in the way, but this year, we got to go. Unfortunately, the snow geese had gotten the super-secret memo saying that the weather was going to take a turn for the colder. About 300,000 of them had made a dash for warmer climes. I think that next year, I need to move the date up a bit on the list!
