Hello there,
Class is out for Winter and there's games to be had! I just got a bunch of ebooks and hope to learn a new system by the time school comes in next year. No quick-starts either. Last time I got into a new system of my own volition was to sidestep a form of writer's block I first encountered as a GM. Later I came to find out it can happen in any subject where we want to be creative – what we know about the system/topic can keep us from being imaginative with it. This week there's an article for fixing that.
