Greetings and Salutations!

Most years have about 52 weeks in them, but this year seems to have 53 weeks! I made a special tweak to our newsletter scheduler code to account for it. If you're one of the editors who pre-schedules your newsletter, please give the code a try and let me know if it's all set. If you run into issues, let me know so I can get that fixed.

Scheduling newsletters is a great idea - that way they go out smoothly and your loyal fans know when to come read your content!

We are heading into prime holiday season, so please be patient with the managers when you send them notes over the next few weeks. Some are away for the holidays, and some are away for the week or two after the holidays. Embrace peace and serenity!


Video of Peace

Many of us now have webcams and cellphones that take video. It would be fun for us to create a message of peace to share with each other! Grab your recording device and take a 30 second video of yourself saying hello to your fellow editors. Heck, you don't have to be in the video. You can show what your neighborhood is like, your Christmas tree, your streets, it doesn't matter. We all live in wildly different locations. What you might think is "boring", others would find wildly fascinating. Give us some sense of where you are, so we can put it into context.

I'll gather up the videos and create a final combined one to share with everyone on New Year's eve! So send them along soon!


January 2011 Weekly Writing

Our first January winner is Laura Delgado, Ph.D., our Sons editor! We're honored to have such a capable editor in our midst. Laura began with us in July 2010 and hit the ground running. She covers fascinating topics and is a great resource for those with boys in their lives!

Our second winner is Isabel Hood, who writes for our Mexican Food site. Isabel has been with us since February 2010. If you adore burritos, Mexican oregano, and other delicious meals, Isabel is the person to contact!
