Buongiorno a tutti!

It's December 12, 2012 the winter solstice and the world didn't end after all! That means that, according to everyone's spiritual beliefs, we got to celebrate another Christmas or Kwanzaa or Yaldaa or Pancha Ganapati, Yule or Winter Solstice with the ones we love, and I really wish you all a wonderful time.

Here is my last recipe for New Years Eve dinner and, in case you missed it, below is also the link for the Christmas Eve dinner:

Zampone with Lentils Recipe for New Year's Eve

Served with lentils, zampone or cotechino is what most Italians eat for dinner at New Year’s Eve. Zampone is a stuffed pig’s foot which has been deboned and filled with ground pork meat and rind mixed with spices, while cotechino is a large size sausage filled with the same type of mixture.
