Greetings and Salutations -

Happy Winter Solstice, everyone! The Winter Solstice happened just about an hour ago, and we are now heading into the light. I suppose those of you in Australia are now heading into the dark :). Either way, it's cause to celebrate and to reconnect with those natural cycles of this marvelous Earth we share.

We have some spectacular entries in this issue of Mused. There's a story of a woman escaping to a battered women's shelter. One of women struggling to stay alive in WWII. Just amazing content. I'm so proud of what we create.

I wanted to give a special, warm shout-out to the Mused team. We had some staggering challenges with this issue. We lost a lot of content due to the server crash, and then we lost our working time due to the server move and reload. We all had to scramble on tight deadlines to thoroughly read the submissions and select them, to proof them, and so on. The team pulled through with shining colors. The issue is amazing.

We change lives with our issues. We are one of the best out there, and we provide our submissions, our feedback, and our issues all for free. We reach authors and readers who don't have access to other venues.

Please post online feedback for the poems and stories you like. It's what keeps the authors inspired and moving forward. And if you'd like to join the Mused team, let me know! It's extremely rewarding. We are launching the next generation of world-changing artists.
