Greetings and Salutations -

I hope you're all having a quiet, restful end of the year, as we look back on all we've accomplished. Take a moment to relish your joys over the past year. The more we can take pride in the things we've done, the more we build up strength and energy for the things we wish to do going forward.

Our forum system software has come out with a new, important update, and I'll be working on rolling that in over the next few days. I'll let you know when I block out the time to do that, so you know it's coming. I know the forums have been hit heavily with spammers recently, and they've caused auto-IP-blocks to trigger. That is, if we get a lot of spammers from a certain region, the forum tries to auto lock them out, and sometimes that blocks legitimate users as well.

The new software version should help refine this so we can still keep the spammers out without impacting legitimate users.

I know a few editors were caught up by this situation. Please give the forums a test and let me know if you're still running into an issue. If you are, I'll go in and manually unlock your "region" for you.
