I was lucky enough today to try samples - hard cheese shavings and soft cheese morsels - of English cheeses at a local delicatessan. My original vision for this article was to write about English cheeses - in fact I found I had enough subject matter with just one, albeit a cheese that I believe is the most pospular cheese in England.
