Happy New Year one and all – it’s the start of a whole new year and I’m busting to get on with it. We didn’t actually see in the New Year last night – but we heard the suburb celebrate at midnight with the usual pots and pans and merriment.
I do hope everyone who celebrates Christmas enjoyed their festivities and that for everyone the holidays were a chance to catch up and get things done. I managed to make two queens sized quilt tops for my friend Diane over the holiday. I’m very pleased with the result – she’s quilting them at present and I’ll have them back sometime soon to bind. They will be thankyou presents for some friends of hers. When I get them back I’ll take some photos for you.
I’ve made a few resolutions for 2014, but I’m keeping them close to my chest – I usually fail on the resolution front by about the 10th of January, so I’ll let you know how I go.
