Greetings, editors!

Susan pointed out that I forgot to number my last message to you, which was #5 :) This one is #6!

To help explain the FTC statements more clearly, I've created a few FAQ pages for you. This should help both with your BellaOnline writings and with other writings and shops you run elsewhere on the web.

Let me know if these help out!

TRAINING AND EDITOR HELP

Deb has been our fantastic trainer for quite a while, and we greatly appreciate all of her efforts and support! She is taking a much deserved break to focus on family and life. Thanks so much, Deb, for everything!!

Let's offer a warm welcome to Michelle Taylor, who you all know and love from her superb help in the Editor Assistance area. She's been helping out Launchees and fully graduated editors. She's going to slide her focus so she now handles Trainees as well as Launchees. This means she can help them through every step of the process, which is great!

Stepping into the role of Editor Help - for fully graduated editors - is Jill Florio. Jill's been a very helpful member of management for quite a while in a number of roles. I know she will be superb at helping editors out with questions!

Please be patient with us all as we work through this transition. We should have everything up and running smoothly soon!

POP-UPS

BellaOnline takes a very strong stand against pop-ups, but sometimes they sneak into our feeds. We have been seeing the infamous "you have a virus!" pop-up set in the forums for the past few days. It just slammed me today. The advertisers haven't figured out yet where it's coming from. I have shut off all of the ads until they figure it out. Please let me know if you see that annoying virus pop-up anywhere on the main site, so I know if I have to take drastic measures there too.

Just to be clear on the forum ads, we always run charity-only ads on the left and right. We do run "paying" ads on the top to pay the forum bills. I have now shut those paying ads down and replaced them with charity ads as well. We have a small safety net of funds, so we'll be fine running with no income there for a short while, until we get this resolved.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions!
