It is Dungeness crab season here on the west coast and it is promising to be the best year in a very long time. Prices are the lowest I can ever remember. Costco has fresh Dungeness for $3.99 a pound, even Safeway had them at $2.99 a pound and 99 Ranch (California Asian market) has them live at $1.99 a pound. We are going crazy eating crab and Thai style is the best!

Even if you can't buy fresh crab in your area a good quality canned crab will work great for my recipe.
