Crime

February 10 2011 Crime Newsletter

Greetings, fellow crime buffs! Still writing about Mary Kay Letourneau this week-her story is just too long to confine to one article. Next week, I'll wrap up this series with current updates on her and Vili Fualaau...including her "Hot for Teacher" club nights-can you imagine? There's a certain dark humor to it, but I suppose that would take a lot of nerve.

This week in crime history:

2/10/1992-Mike Tyson is convicted of rape.

2/11/1961-Nazi Adolf Eichmann's trial begins in Jerusalem.

2/12/1993-Two-year-old James Bulger is murdered in England by two 10-year-old boys.

2/13/1542-Catherine Howard, Henry VIII's fifth wife, is beheaded for alleged adultery, considered a crime of treason.

2/14/1929-The St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago leaves seven of mobster Bugs Moran's men dead.

2/15/1992-Jeffrey Dahmer is found guilty of the murders of 15 young men.

2/16/1992-Abbas al-Musawi, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, is assassinated.

Here's the latest article from the Crime site at BellaOnline.com.
