Beer Fox Tip of the Week:

Dark beers are not necessarily more robust in body or higher in alcohol content.  There is no connection between the color of the beer and its body or level of potency.  Color is imparted from the malt selected.

A Guinness Draught has only 4.2 ABV and is lower in calories than a Budweiser.  A light golden Duval has 8.5 ABV. (alcohol by volume)

Beer News:

A Miller employee in Racine, Wisconsin was fired this week when his picture appeared in a local newspaper in celebration of Mardi Crawl on Main Street.  He was photographed drinking a Bud Light.

Craft Brew of the Week Award:

Samuel Adams Boston Ale, Boston Beer Company, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Style - American Pale Ale

An American Pale Ale,  with an orange-amber color and slight haze.  The medium bodied fruit bitterness is perfectly balanced with malt graininess. A superior session beer!
